Here are some highlights for the 2012 Sumter Dirt Bike Week:

AMA East Series Burnt Gin Hare Scramble (including SETRA Mini Cross Country Series event) on January 22, 2012.
A separate SETRA Mini Cross Country Series event on January 21, 2012.
• A cash purse for the Pro’s will be announced at a later date.
• The event will be held at the Seed Orchard near the club. This is the same venue used last year.
• Some of the HS trail will be used in the Enduro.
• Free primitive camping at the event for the weekend only--no campfires and no alcohol.
• Free camping at the SERMA club house at all other times – SERMA club members will be on site at both locations.

43rd Annual Sumter Enduro on January 29, 2012.
• The course will be approximately70-75 miles long, with cutoffs for C and B riders per National guidelines.
• We will use electronic scoring. Transponders will be available for rent at the event if you do not have one.
• Limited to 600 riders.
• Enduro sign up will reopen December 5 at 8 pm EST. To sign up online, click here,  There are less than 30 spots available.  If you are not allowed entry, your payment will be refunded.  Rows will be assigned on a first come basis except for the reserved Pro Row spots. If you want to ride with a certain Pro or other riders, enter TOGETHER and EARLY. No row swapping allowed and we will not hold spots for entries to arrive later. Once a Row has been set, that’s it. This race has sold out for the last 4 years, so do not wait. Our last national sold out in 3 weeks at 618 riders. We will do our best to put you where requested but we can not make everyone happy.  If we could accomodate all requests, there would have been 34 riders on Row 15 last year.
• The C cut off will be approx 50-55 miles and the B cutoff will be approximately 60-65 miles.
• Rows 21 thru 50 will have the “A” position reserved for Pro ranked riders.
• All National classes will be observed.
• A cash Pro purse will be determined at a later date.
• Pro riders purse will include 100% payback to 10 spots + CASH - $80 entry fee.
• $60 Pre-entry fee. $65 Post entry fee. 
• The Saturday night Pit Bike Race will have a cash purse
• We are trying to have one Main Gas you go to twice, but bring two jugs just in case.
• Free primitive camping.

The 7th Annual Sumter Pit Bike Race whoop.gif under the lights will return on the night before the Enduro. Cash Prizes!!!!
