Series information
:
Sunday's event will be a part of the AMA National East Hare Scramble Series. Saturday and Sunday will be a SETRA sanctioned event.
Location
:
Both events will start at the same location OFF PREMISES from the SERMA
clubhouse.
The land used, including the parking and camping areas is SC Forestry property.
Alcohol is NOT permitted on SC Forestry Grounds. Citations will be issued if you are caught with any open alcohol.
Overnight camping is allowed at the Mini events site this year.
Please be prepared to pack out what you pack in, including your trash!
No campfires are allowed.
NO PITBIKES or ATVS allowed.
There is a 5 mph speed limit on the grounds.
Basic Directions:
Off of Highway 261 between Wedgefield and Pinewood, SC
Turn
off of Hwy 261 onto Tillman Nursery Rd. just beside the Wedgefield Post Office.
Go to the 1.2 miles and look straight ahead for the
entrance.

Entry Information:
There will be NO online entries for this event.
AMA Membership is required and will be available at signup.
The entry fee for the Sumter Mini Cross Country events will be $25.00 per event.
The entry fee for the National East Series event will be $60 fopr Pros, $40 for Adults and $25 for Youths.
Transponders:
These events will use the "lipstick" style transponder. If you do not have one, they will be available for rent at the event. Rent is $10 and a refundable deposit will be required. (Pay $30 and get $20 back when you turn it in after the event.)
Refunds:
There will be NO REFUNDS!
Row Changes:
Both Mini events will run a Hare Scramble type format, so rows will be assigned by class.
Bike Inspection:
There will be NO bike inspection by SERMA.
No public roads will be used,
so only a USFS approved spark arrestor is necessary.
Any
ticket issued will result in the immediate disqualification of the rider
given the citation.
Course Information (Estimated data):
The site will consist of NO ROADS and it is in an area that is confined by a fence.
The course is approximately seven-eight miles long.
The terrain will be mostly sandy and fairly open.
