1-How can I enter your event?
The event is full. We do have a "standby" entry process. That process is posted on the front page of the website.
2-Are there any age or bike restrictions?
You must be at least 14 years of age and all bikes must have a minimum 16 inch rear wheel. All riders under the age of 18 must complete the proper Minor Release Form that is available by clicking here.
3-What bike requirements will be inspected?
Bikes will only be inspected for spark
arrestors, sound levels and scoring transponders.
SC Forestry guidelines as well as
AMA and SETRA rules require all bikes to be equipped with a USFS approved spark arrestor.
It is the rider's responsibility should law enforcement
become involved and/or a protest is filed.
Any traffic or forestry citation will result in immediate disqualification
from the event, with no refund of any kind given.
4-Is the route sheet available online?
It will, but not until the course gets final approval from the SC Forestry Commission and the NEPG, which will probably not be until late Friday, January 26, or early Saturday, January 27.
5-Can a 250cc four stroke run in the 86-200cc class?
No. All cc classes are based on actual displacement. A 250F is NOT legal to run an 86-200cc class, and a 450F is NOT legal to run a 201-250 class.
6-What is the scoring format for this event?
Scoring will be the Start/Restart format as used by the NEPG for all National eventss. The NEPG will be doing all of the electronic scoring for this event!
7-Do you have any open spots left?
No. See question #1. The row information will be available by clicking here.
8-Can I swap rows with someone?
No. SETRA rules prohibit changing rows for any reason. Once an entry is accepted, it is non-transferable. If a rider is not able to attend, he forfeits his spot and there are NO Refunds.
9-Where is the Gas Stop located, and is there an auxiliary gas available?
The plan is to have one Main Gas Stop
that will be used by all riders, and a second Main Gas Stop to be used only by
Pro and A riders. SERMA will transport rider's gas jugs to those
areas for you, if needed. Pro/A riders will need two jugs.
SERMA will NOT transport
jugs to any Aux. Gas Stops.
10-I can't make it to the event, can I get a refund?
Sorry, but there are NO refunds!
11-Is camping allowed?
Yes. Primitive camping is allowed on the property. "Quiet time" is from 10:30pm until 7:00 am.
12-Will the race be canceled for any reason?
We do NOT foresee any reason for the race to be canceled. If for any reason it is, it will be posted on this site immediately!
11-When will the site be updated again?
We try to update the site at least three times a week prior to the event. I hope to be able to post results within 24 hours after the event.
I hope this has answered any questions you may have. If you have more questions, you may contact us.
